Greenwich hedge index inches up

The Greenwich Global Hedge Fund Index increased 0.13% in July
and is up 7.98% for the year.
The index, which is put out monthly by Greenwich, Conn.-based
Greenwich Alternative Investments LLC, beat out the Standard &
Poor's 500, MSCI World Equity and FTSE 1000 indexes, which fell
3.1%, 2.28% and 3.75%, respectively last month.
